School scrubs, white socks/tan hose, white shoes/sneakers (no clogs) ![]() What else is required to be in a NA class? Current Mantoux (T.B) screening & a current criminal record report ![]() What is the average rate of pay for a NA? It varies from $10 - $15 per hour ![]() Where can NA's work? Hospitals, nursing homes, MD offices, home care & Residential care ![]() What do Practical Nurses do? Nursing assessments of the health care status, develop and modify the comprehensive care plan for all types of clients, participate in nursing care management, evaluate the client’s response to intervention, administer medications and other patient care related tasks ![]() What are the pre requisites needed in order to be accepted into the PN program? You must have a current LNA license, pass the pre entrance exam, complete a criminal record and health form, submit two character references, provide us with a copy of your HS official transcript or your GED certificate and have access to a computer for daily lesson plans. ![]() How long is the PN program? 12 months ![]() How do I pay for the PN program? Payment plans, credit cards (visa and mastercard only), cash, checks, facility incentives and other sponsors. We do not accept government funding (i.e. pell grants) at this time but are researching the possibility for future classes.
